D. Dean Benton
Interim Associate Pastor
Ordained in 1960, Dean pastored for 14 years. Dean and his wife Carole with other singers, including family members toured in 41 states doing about 3500 concerts, seminars and weekend conferences/retreats. They have recorded 18 albums.
The Bentons have had radio and television programs in several markets as well as appearing on television programs across the country.
The author of over 25 books, Dean is a graduate of Upper Iowa University, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and Open Bible College. Since the mid-90s, The Bentons’ ministries have focused on seminars in churches and hotel meeting rooms. One entrepreneur and employer of over 3000 said, “He’s one of the best seminar leaders I’ve seen.” One pastor said, “Dean is terrific in seminars, but with Carole they are dynamite.”
